Peregrine forces run deep in some. I'm one of them. Even in high school, there was a pull of the road, racking up surprising mileage when the time might have been better spent studying at a desk. In college, friends like Jeff Kleppin and Eric Rydzewski were great traveling companions -- roadtrips were sanity savers.

Oddly for someone who has been analytical his whole life, I've never dwelled much on the why of my migrations. I don't need a why. Doesn't matter if it is instinct or escapism, there are times travel is the only answer for the moment, be it behind the wheel or by foot. My partner puts it better: to be in motion soothes; the joy is just to feel yourself move.

The links below lead to some of our travels, apart and together. Enjoy.
