Looking south into NC
And finally made it here in the mid-afternoon. Beautiful setting on the N side of the valley; really picturesque looking south into NC. Won't see North Carolina again on this trip -- as tomorrow I'll hike to Elk Park to meet Skip. Then, on to Damascus.
I'm 77.3 miles from D-town on this Sunday. I figure Saturday wil be my big Damascus day. I feel free, having dispensed with the itineary. Will have to adjust my mail drops.
