Firetower lookout, May 11
Up and out. First night last night with military poncho liner. Was cool, but not intolerable. Should be a good summer with it. Maybe a half pound, or less. Aside from the still-full food sack, pack is getting to feel right.
Atop some firetower perch north of Moreland, I spot a beagle taking itself for a walk down on Trail. More trail family catching up, as I saw Port and Starboard on trail just behind me.
