Friday, May 13th. Traildays weekend in Damascus, VA is the biggest A.T. celebration on Trail, and we had just walked into it from the Damascus Highway. Things looked quiet from this approach, but T.D. and I could hear things even from this remote end of town. I had made it to my fourth state, and back home.
