Some of these folks I had met, but most I only knew from register entries. Jack-in-the-Green was one of the referees. Breeze, one of the GoatHerders (Moose?, Ox? I don't know), I think that's Harmony of Spheres and another Travelin' Jack on the stoop in dark purple (not my philosophical sheltermate from Tennessee). Thirty-some twinkies awaited demolition, and each contestant got their gameplan in order. (I think I have the trailnames right -- Breeze and I hiked several hundred miles together, so he's the only Twinkie eater I knew well.)
