Foot check in The Place It was my second zero mile day on trail, but I bet I pounded out another 20 just walking around town all day. My feet weren't happy, but only the ankles were telling me about it. When I sized my boots, I had bought them a half-size too big. Double socks solved that. Now I could wear my size 12 boots comfortably. Or, more correctly, my feet fit in them without the extra layers. That nail on the left foot would need to come off before I get back on trail. At least the bandana was my solution for the hiking hat. |
