One last look before I head down to Lambert's Meadow. I could push hard on to Cloverdale, but I think I want a night in a shelter to myself. I've decided to carry my Kelty tent again -- regain the flexibility of camping at my discretion without worrying about the bugs. Full foodsack, full of nearly a week's worth of slackpack town food. But I feel lighter for the emotional baggage I hadn't really processed, even with a third of this hike behind me.
