Skyland for Breakfast, June 18
J: SNP Triple Crown. B.J. and I were up and out by 6:15. Hustled into Skyland at 7:50. Big breakfast of Blueberry pancakes smothered in syrup and butter. Side of sausage and fresh-squeezed O.J. - yum. Speaking of O.J., some news report that fool killed his wife in Hollywood. I wonder how much news we miss out here, and how much better off we are not knowing. The radio fills in the overall picture, and it's truly same shit, different day.
Left at 9 a.m. after calling mom and dad. We lost the trail, in the bloody parking lot (picture). Finally found it. Found a second stick for hiking.
