Eckville Shelter, July 15
Stayed behind at Eckville with Sherbear and Jettbutt. His achilles on both sides are really ripped up -- large open blister sores, painful to walk even with sandles. He can't hike. They are debating getting off trail for a time to let them heal. JB wants SB to hike on, he'll catch up. She doesn't want to leave him back on trail or split the team. It's a down day, need some kind of trail magic. We're not supposed to stay more than one night in the shelter, but I think that rule's gonna get stretched this evening.
