Church of the Mountain picnic
I had picked up my mail-ahead box from the P.O. in the a.m. Grabbed what I needed, stowed the rest to go ahead to Kent, CT. New earbuds from the mall in Stroudsburg, new journal as the current one was nearly full. There was enough food in the sack for the expected days ahead before I'd get to my Glenwood NJ drop. Besides, tonight I would have a chance to calorie-load. The local church provides a picnic for hikers in town every Thursday evening. These folks don't go shy on their generosity -- simply amazing.
