New Camera!
This is the camera I should have used all along. Sure, it has a dedicated battery and not the AAs that can be found anywhere and used in everything else (mag lite, radio). The features were terrific. It would be a few town stops before I'd know if the images worked (one to ship the film off to dad, one more to check in with him).
I had blown most of the day in town, between the mail drop, phone calls, postcard writing and the trip to the mall. Hard to make any miles, but I could at least climb out of town to the next shelter.
