Hexacuba Shelter, Aug 31
J: Sheltered at Hexacuba last night with a slew of southbounders: Michigan Roadwalkers, Wolf, and Nancy & Jen. 'Wolf' was bizarre - lighting fires in the shelter, insisting that the heat would only go 'up' and not affect the floorboards from his twig-fed stove, or that drinking water could be found everywhere without any need of filtering. He was a little off, and his manner (and manners) were alienating.
Neat shelter -- the one Tim from fisheries/wildlife at VT mentioned from his undergrad days.
