Moosalauki
Moosalauki will be the first hill above treeline. Balds down south were close, but this is the first climate-induced change based on our terrain. The recent mountains have kicked my ass - hopefully everyone else feels the same, otherwise I'm wearing down fast. Am I ready for the Whites?
A lot of hikers just ahead in the registers. I was out before any of the rest of my gang in Hanover, but they probably aren't too far behind. We've managed to spread out for the Whites - no one is hiking with me, and maybe I can keep it that way. In the registers, we've all noted that the huts can only take so many people at a time, so we don't want to be bunched up if we need to work the AMC system.
