Antlers Camp feed-a-thon

Antlers Camp feed-a-thon

Since crossing the bridge to Page 1, I've been seeing these signs left on rocks or tied to trees. Anyone whose headed south on I-95 through southern Virginia and North Carolina are familiar with this really tacky (and really fun) fireworks shop and amusement park called South of the Border (Pedro sez...) On the way down, for dozens and dozens of miles, there are these garish black and red and yellow billboard ads for Pedro's favorite haunt. Some have really cute sayings, some are very cringe-worthy, some are even animated with spinning eyes or flying saucers or sombreros.

The ads for this patch of trail magic in the middle of the 100 miles went on for at least a couple of miles -- all in the same vein. And this was going to be a big miles day. Uh oh. This could crimp that 'big miles' thing.
