Office Door post Hike
I mentioned before that my touchstones were family, dog, friends and colleagues. One of the fringe benefits of being 'an academic' is that one's whole department - indeed campus - becomes extended family.
Prior to hiking, I had taped a map of the A.T. on my lab door. While I was hiking, I received outstanding Trail Magic from professors, students, secretaries, staff and instructors. And they shared the postcards I would send along the way by posting them on my door. I cannot extend sufficient gratitude to everyone who made my hike better than dreams could imagine. Thank you.
