Fontana Dam and Visitors Center
Free hot showers! The A.T. crosses the dam and heads up the hillside to the far right. The visitors center is visible by the parking lot (bottom of the flagpole). Within the center, they have locker rooms with free hot showers. Fontana is part of the TVA power grid, and a hydroelectric power station. It's immaculately maintained.
