Sunset on the Damascus Highway
Evening was beautiful. Sunset and twilight walk, moon was crescent sitting in the west with Venus. So it turned into a nighthike. Made Holstein Mountain trail about 10:30. Full shelter and some tenting out, so burritoed near the firepit. Cold! Forgot to get hat out, so 3 a.m., no hat and I was freezing. Got up and rooted it out of the pack. Fitful sleeping, hard to redo the burrito well in the pitch black. Need to reconsider tent.
