Solar Shower
Aha! The Companion was right. One Solar Shower. There's a bit of a design flaw -- it's in the shade. But forest-temperature water is a lot better than straight from the stream. Great shower!
Dried off and dressed. Reading a book on the front porch, and along comes Wrongway -- feeling much better after getting on a 'cyclin antibiotic derivative. If it was Lyme, it got knocked back and he's back to his old hiker self.
Less than 50 miles left to Virginia.
Shelter entry: Anyone with a sewing needle? My shorts are splitting where I need them to hold up. Before long, I'll sit down in the wrong restaurant and the cops will come and they'll cuff me and the young nubile waitresses will point and quietly giggle and I'll have to beg the judge for lenancy (and a new pair of shorts) and the boys in the cell will want to get closer and... oh please, does someone have a needle and thread? - DNA
