Cumberland Valley north
Working our way back out of the Cumberland Valley in the heat. It ended as it began -- farm fields and pastures, up to the forest. The ridgeline beyond is the hills of the afternoon. Darlington and Thelma Marks were nice enough, but only Thelma had decent close water, and a trickle at that. Hawk Rock offered a respectable view, and the descent into Duncannon wasn't too rocky. The heat was the hard part. Parching heat.
