Lunch at Pine Swamp lean-to
All the comforts of home -- oh wait, we ARE home.
My four month anniversary on trail. In some respects, it feels like I've never had another life and know nothing different. I'm in Pine Swamp L-2, central western Connecticut after a short stop in Kent and a successful mail drop! My boots from Bear Mtn zoo arrived. Ack! They're virgin. I haven't much choice but to break them in. Did laundry and a quick shower thanks to trail magic from Dan Moore. Met Avalon and Feral Snowman at Algo L-2, walking in to town. All using my notepad to communicate. Not saying alot gives me a lot more time to think, and think up some fun register entries, such as an envisioned A.T. Jeopardy episode. Cue announcer voiceover:
