Looking North Atop Saddleback Junior, the early evening light fades fast up here. I'll find a stealth site to camp near the stream a half mile down. Not much soil, but large patches of dried moose pellets make the ground a bit softer. I'm not being gross - they don't smell and they're kind of like large chunks of vermiculite. Made less than 10 trail miles today, here on my 170th day on trail. |
