Katahdin, October 7 morning
The start of the last day of my hike. Didn't get much sleep in the shelter. Wasn't cold in the bag and wasn't for the noise of my sheltermates -- just anticipation. Temps just below freezing, mostly overcast, light breeze. A lot of folks in various stages of getting prepped for the climb. Otter and Pieps said they'd catch up with me in a few hours.
