Then - pushed on to Bryant Ridge S. - what a beautiful shelter! Better, I think, than Plumorchard (against all shelter craft should be measured). Here be Sweet Mags, Dannie Be, Rainbow Rocker, Hulagn and DelDoc.
But there was something more. A group from Roanoke having a medievel wedding! This couple was there, reaffirming their vows, with a slew of friends. There were knights, faire maidens, purple velvet, and a lot of smiles and laughter. That was VERY neat. And food, 'though I only made dessert. The food they packed in was awesome. Nice people!
Got to know some of my hiker friends a bit better. Sweet Mags was out just getting some alone time. She was involved with a fella back home. He's a divorcee a bit gun-shy about recommitment. So she was out here, thinking. Hulagn used to be stationed at Fort Belvoir (right next to my boyhood home). Did security on base and for diplomats. Neat stories - would like to camp with him more.
