The Guillotine
Bringing new meaning to 'hanging rock', this is the Guillotine -- and yes, the Trail runs through that gap under the boulder. It's been so dry since -- well, since Atkins and just north of Mt. Rogers. Hot, too. We've had insufficient rain and some folks are worried about the springs if this keeps up through the summer. Precariously perched rocks will be the least of our worries.
