Fontana Dam from Walker Gap
First sighting of the dam at the end of Fontana Lake. All of the hillsides beyond the lake are the Great Smokie Mountain National Park. The spur ridge running from the left side of the dam up to the summit in the foreground is the Trail route into the Smokies.
